📐 TV Wall Mounting Perth
There’s nothing worse than a beautiful new TV sitting on a wobbly IKEA stand with cables everywhere. Wall mounting your TV looks a million times better, frees up floor space, and puts the screen at the perfect viewing height. Plus, if you’ve got kids or dogs, a wall-mounted TV isn’t getting knocked over.
We mount TVs on every type of wall — plasterboard, brick, concrete, stone, even outdoors on patio pillars. Every bracket we install is rated for well above the TV’s weight, and we always find the studs or use the right anchors for your wall type. Your TV isn’t going anywhere.
If you also need cabling or extra outlets behind the screen, check our TV point and data point installation Perth page. For full room builds, see our home theatre installation Perth page.
🔧 Mounting Options
🧹 Cable Concealment
Half the job is hiding the cables. Nobody wants HDMI leads and power cords dangling down their freshly painted wall.
- In-wall concealment — cables run through the wall cavity (plasterboard walls)
- Surface trunking — colour-matched cable covers for brick walls
- Recessed power point — power socket installed behind the TV so no cable shows at all
❓ Wall Mounting FAQs
Can you mount a TV on a brick wall?
Absolutely — brick is actually the strongest surface to mount on. We use masonry anchors rated for much more than your TV weighs. The bracket isn’t going anywhere, trust us.
I’ve got a plasterboard wall — is that strong enough?
Yes, but the bracket must go into the timber studs behind the plasterboard. We use a stud finder and verify with a drill before committing. If studs don’t line up perfectly, we use a combination of stud and toggle anchors to spread the load.
Can I provide my own bracket?
Sure, as long as it’s rated for your TV size and weight. We carry quality brackets in the van too if you want us to supply one — we can recommend the right type when we see your wall and TV.
💰 How Much Does TV Wall Mounting Cost in Perth?
Upfront pricing, no surprises. Here’s what TV wall mounting typically costs — we quote exactly before we start.
We always confirm pricing before we start. No call-out fees, no hidden extras. If your wall needs special treatment — Hebel blocks, odd angles, above a fireplace — we’ll factor that into the quote upfront.
🧱 Perth Wall Types & TV Mounting
Perth homes are built different to the rest of the country — and the wall type matters when you’re hanging a 30kg TV off it. Here’s how we handle each one.
📐 TV Bracket Types — Fixed, Tilt, or Full-Motion?
The right bracket depends on where the TV sits relative to where you’re watching from. We carry all three types on the van.
We mount all TV sizes from 32″ right up to 98″ and beyond. Whatever VESA pattern your TV uses, we’ve got a bracket to match. If you’re not sure what bracket suits your room, we’ll recommend the right one when we see the space.
🔌 Hiding TV Wires & Cable Concealment
Nothing ruins a nice TV wall mount like a tangle of cables hanging down the wall. We offer full cable concealment so the only thing you see is the screen.
In-wall cable routing — We cut access holes behind the TV and at skirting level, then route HDMI, antenna, and power cables inside the wall cavity. This is the cleanest option and works on most Perth double-brick and plasterboard walls.
Cable ducting — Where in-wall routing isn’t possible (concrete walls, rental properties), we use slim cable conduit painted to match your wall. Tidy, removable, no damage.
Power point behind the TV — The ultimate clean install. A new power socket installed directly behind the TV means zero visible cables. This is licensed electrical work (EC 9715) and we do it all in one visit — no need to book a separate sparky.
❓ TV Wall Mounting Cost FAQs
How much does TV wall mounting cost in Perth?
Basic TV wall mount installation starts from $249 including the bracket. With cable concealment it’s from $299, and with a new power point behind the TV it’s from $349. The exact cost depends on your wall type, TV size, and whether you want cables hidden. We quote before we start — always.
Can you mount a TV on a plasterboard wall?
Yes, but only into the timber studs behind the plasterboard — never just into the plaster alone. We locate the studs, verify they’re solid, and use appropriate fixings rated for your TV’s weight. It’s secure and safe when done properly.
Do you supply the TV bracket?
Yes, we carry fixed, tilt, and full-motion brackets on the van. The bracket cost is included in our pricing. If you’ve already bought your own bracket, we’re happy to install that instead.
Can you hang my TV and hide all the wires?
That’s what we do best. In-wall cable routing hides all your HDMI, antenna, and power cables inside the wall cavity. Add a power point behind the TV and there are literally zero visible cables. Clean as it gets.
