- Burns food on one side and undercooks the other
- Element glows unevenly or has visible damage

? How Our Service Works
1. Book online or call — tell us the brand, model (if you know it), and what’s happening.
2. Same-day or next-day visit — we come to you with test equipment and common parts.
3. Diagnose on the spot — we test the element, thermostat, wiring, and controls to find the actual fault.
4. Fix it or quote it — if we have the part, we fix it there and then. If we need to order something, we’ll give you a firm quote with no surprises.

❓ Oven Repair FAQs
How much does an oven repair cost?
Most repairs come in between $150–$350 depending on the fault and parts needed. Element replacements are on the cheaper end, while control board or thermostat issues cost more. We always tell you the price before we do the work — no surprises.
Is it worth repairing an old oven?
If it’s a single fault on an oven less than 10 years old — usually yes. If it’s 15+ years old or has multiple issues, replacement often makes more financial sense. We’ll give you an honest recommendation either way.
My oven trips the safety switch — is it dangerous?
It means current is leaking to earth, usually from a cracked element or damaged wiring. Your safety switch is doing its job by cutting the power. Don’t keep resetting it and using the oven — that’s the one scenario where it genuinely could be dangerous. Call us and we’ll sort it.
Do you repair cooktops too?
Electric cooktops (ceramic, induction, solid plate) — yes. Gas cooktops — no, you’ll need a licensed gas fitter for those.
