? NBN & Data Cabling Perth
Your NBN connection is only as good as the cabling inside your home. You might have the fastest plan available, but if your data runs through ancient phone cable from 1985, you’re getting a fraction of the speed you’re paying for. We install Cat5e and Cat6 data cabling so your internet actually delivers what your ISP promised.
Whether you need a single data point moved to where your modem works best, or a full house wired up with data points in every room, we handle the cable runs, terminations, and testing.

❓ Data Cabling FAQs
Do I need data cabling if I have WiFi?
WiFi is convenient but unreliable for everything. Streaming 4K, video calls, online gaming, and working from home all benefit from a wired connection. Cat6 gives you consistent gigabit speed — no dropouts, no interference from the microwave.
What’s the difference between Cat5e and Cat6?
Cat5e supports up to 1 Gbps, Cat6 supports up to 10 Gbps over shorter runs. For home use Cat5e is often sufficient, but we usually recommend Cat6 — the cost difference is minimal and it future-proofs your home.
Can you run data cable through existing walls?
Yes. We fish cables through wall cavities and roof spaces just like antenna and electrical cable. In most homes we can do it with minimal to no visible cable runs.
